Di tanto in tanto, il sottoscritto e altri blogger di comprovata anzianità vengono invitati a provare nuovi servizi internet. Questo è il resoconto – scritto dallo Yoda della blogosfera italiana Massimo Mantellini sul blog Eraclito – di uno di quegli incontri.

Qualche giorno fa Eraclito è stato invitato ad assistere ad una dimostrazione di TI Cloud, nuovo servizio di archiviazione dati sulla Nuvola Italiana per l’utenza consumer. Insieme a noi erano presenti Marco Zamperini e Gianluca Neri.
TI Cloud è stato pensato come un servizio prima di tutto semplice ed intuitivo, adatto alla vasta platea di quanti non hanno eccessiva dimestichezza con lo storage in rete e che vogliono avere un luogo di rete ampio e di facile utilizzo per archiviare le proprie foto, i propri video ed i propri documenti. Perché ovviamente moltissimi utenti Internet non conoscono Dropbox o Sugarsync, non utilizzano Google Drive, iCloud o uno delle decine di servizi di disco sulla nuvola che si stanno moltiplicando in questi tempi. Moltissimi continuano a non fare regolarmente il backup dei propri dati su memorie di massa e hard disk portatili. E se i servizi tipo Dropbox sono utilizzati da una modesta quota di utenti avanzati, sempre più persone ogni giorno scattano foto, producono video e documenti che hanno necessità di archiviare in modo sicuro.
